How to use in offline mode

Option 1:

Run a first analyzis in online mode. The module list downloaded from the store will be saved in the JCR, for further offline execution

Option 2:

• Download manually the module list from the Jahia Store: modules-repository.moduleList.json
• Upload it under /sites/systemsite/files/v8-migration/ without changing the name of the file

How to customize the list of deprecated permissions & actions

The list is configured in digital-factory-data/karaf/etc/org.jahia.modules.v8moduleshelper.utils.CodeScanner.cfg

Scan of the Java code

The modules jar files embed the compiled code as .class files. The related .java files can be analyzed only for the modules for which the sources are available on the local filesystem and mounted in Jahia

• From Administration -> System Components -> Modules -> Available Modules -> v8-modules-helper
• Alternatively you can download the .jar from Store and install it from Administration -> System Components -> Modules -> Installed Modules -> Upload Module from File
• Start the module. Click on the module and Enable it for systemsite
• Refresh the page and access the module under Administration -> System Components -> V8 Migration Helper
