A module to export/migrate modules from a local instance to a remote instance.

Use cases

  • The module is used to migrate the modules from a local to a remote instance. It especially useful during migration to Jahia cloud or when deploying new instance (e.g. Dev, QA)
  • The module can also export all the modules jar files to a zip archive so that it can be used as a backup when there is a need to reset the module states / deleting the bundles_deployed folder

How To Install

  1. Install the module from Jahia Administration > System Components > Modules
  2. Make sure that the module is enabled for 'System site'
  3. The Modules Exporter will be available under "Administration -> Configuration -> Modules Exporter"
